Here are the highlights!
Overall Residential sales in July in Alberta were Down year over year..BUT 4 out of the 10 real estate associations that make up Alberta saw increases. (Edmonton was among them.)
But the Average price climbed slightly.
And dollar volume CLOSELY mirrored the number of units sold, with the same trends.
In terms of months of inventory, we are seeing that CLIMB and it has increased year over year. What does this mean if you are thinking about selling your home? Well, it means that you need good information about your LOCAL market and specifically about what it would take to get your home sold. These are exactly the types of questions above that you need answers to.
